Check the "Which are applications" box to copy applications. Applications, also referred to as programs, are the files on your disk which perform functions on your computer. Common applications are word processors, spreadsheets, and database programs.

The most common use of this feature is to exclude applications from a synchronization. See the topic "Excluding Certain Files" for more information.
